330ml bottle. Clear, reddish-brown colour with small to average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge and caramel, a spicy touch of lovage. Taste is sweet, caramel and dark malty, notes of malt lozenge, a touch of rock sugar, fruity hints of plum. OK.

Fürst Wallerstein Winter Böckle, Fläschchen von Getränke Hoffmann, Berlin. - Tiefdunkles Kupferrot, klar. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang trocken und ranzig bitter. - Billig gemachter, allzu derb gehopfter Bock. Trinkbar aber kein Genuß. Bottle picked up from Bayerisches Bierspezialitäten Pararadies Bienenfleiß, München. Had this at home, Attenkirchen Sunday 24th November 2019 listening to Pumarosa - Devastation and cooking Salmon and Cream Cheese stuffed large Conchiglioni. Chestnut colour with an off white head, malty, lovely toffee flavour in fact to be more descriptive its a little bit of bonfire toffee. Sweet but not too sweet, it's a nice beer.

0.33 l bottle from local 'Getränke Hoffmann', best before October 2020. Clear, dark reddish brown with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, a little fruity aroma of caramel, toasted nuts, a touch of cocoa and traces of raisins. Gently sweet, malty, slightly bitter and minimally fruity taste of caramel, toasted nuts, light cocoa and traces of raisins, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium to full body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Solid Doppelbock but quite monotonous and not very deep.

Many thanks for this small bottle of beer to Mariusz. Fajna niska butelka.

330 ml swing top bottle. Pours a mahogany color with moderate foamy head. Aromas of bready malts, caramel, and caraway. Flavors of sweet bready malts, brown sugar syrup, and figs. Quite sweet but a very nice doppelbock to end an evening.

Sweetish and malty beginning. Quite sharp-bitter, not too smooth. The alcohol is present, fresh, easy to drink but somehow sharp. Sweetish-malty aftertaste, not too deep, slightly bitter.
