From a 12 oz can courtesy of Bill from Santa Fe. Pours black with a tan head. Aromas of mocha. Flavors are bitter coffee and toasted nuts. Pretty tasty.

Near black pour with a small tan head. Aroma is of roast malt, dark chocolate. Flavor is of roast malt, chocolate, a little coffee. It’s somewhat sweet and a little thin. The latter is surprising for an 8% porter but it’s alright.

Sample at the New Mexico WinterBrew 2022 festival, 1/22/22. Dark brown large frothy tan head. Aroma of roast, leather, dark chocolate. Taste is chocolate, roast, earth. Rustic. Nice.
