Bill and Charlie collaborated with the famous beer tasters and brewers Bob & Ellie Tupper to produce a very special beer to celebrate their 20,000th beer tasted. Tuppers’ India Ink Black IPA is an assertive midnight-colored brew that is aggressively hopped and dry-hopped with Bob’s favorite, Mt. Hood hops. Once fermentation was complete, India Ink was transferred into a secondary fermenter that had been stuffed with hop sacks full of 50 pounds of Mt. Hood Hop flowers. The result is a 7.2% ABV and 70 IBU midnight malt and hop bomb

Growler from the brewpub. Pours a pitch black color with a large frothy, creamy tan head. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of leafy, bitter hops with some citrus notes. The taste is roasted malts, minty hops, some fruity notes, a faint bit of chocolate. Medium bodied.
