An oldie, from the time Moersleutel still bottled it all. Bit light body for the abv, but not thin. Smooth enough, bit boozy. Taste is peaty of course, but not overdone so the roast from the base also comes through. Coffee, iodine, wood. bit 1-dimensional

Bottle, thanks to Sjogro and Maakun! Black.Peat dominating the aroma and flavor. Just a hint of chocolate. Sweet, soft roast. Bowmore clearly present. Dried fruit, well carbonated. Excellent.

Black with quick fading head. Aroma is rich and intense with some whisky and roasted malts. Flavour is similar but with a light hum of booze. Fine and intense carbonation is not welcome. Otherwise excellent.

Bottle shared @ JimGreenuk tasting, December 2017. Black color. Aroma's: sweetish, coffee, roast, light peat. Retronasal it's fruity, sweetish. Flavor is moderate sweet, fruity, a bit sourish. Medium bodied. Long finish, dry, tart almost. Not their finest, alas.

Bottle at the JimGreen tasting, Den Haag, December 2017. Poured a clear dark brown with a round bubbly tan head. The aroma is roasty malt cacao, coffee, perfume floral hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a dry malt, dry coffee hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Superb aroma but falls away in the finish.
