Sample at the Downtown location. This brew is a plum-amber color with a thin and fizzy off-white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Tart berry aroma. Light body with blackberry flavor along with a bit of malt underneath. The finish is short and tart with a blackberry aftertaste. Any interest in a fruit not commonly used in making beer is sort of undermined by the fact that it is pretty much the only flavor there. Just a little above average overall.

Draft at Shirlington location. Pours a dark, purpleish black color. Aroma is fruity, and it does taste like blackberries. Not too bad.
