16 oz pour on draft at Sweetwater Tavern Merrifield. Shaker pint. Dark brownish black cola color with beige head. Aromas of peppers, light smoke, dark chocolate. Tastes of malt, cocoa, roast, chocolate, light peppers. Medium body with a dry finish.

On Tap at Northern Virginia Summer BrewFest. Pours a dark brown color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is caramel, coffee, and a very mild pepper. Flavor is light (compared to other porters) - rich roasted, chocolates, and no noticeable heat until the liquid hits the back of the throat - then there’s a mild and enjoyable spice "burn."

On tap at the brewpub. Dark black body with a medium creamy tan head. Light smoked aroma with roasted and chocolate malt. Rich roasted malt flavor, gentle smoke and very faint chipotle. Medium full body with moderate carbonation and a smooth creamy finish.
