February 2009 22oz bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown color, with a pretty substantial brown light brown head. Aroma is malts, dark chocolate and raspberries. Flavor is chocolate malt, with a solid raspberry flavor. Slightly tart, but not sour.

22 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Market Fair Lakes. Pours a dark reddish brown color with a large tan head. Good retention and fair lacing. Aroma of raspberries, chocolate and light roasted malts. Taste is bitter roasted malts, chocolate and light smoke with a raspberry finish. Medium bodied. Quite nice.

on tap-pours a dissipating light brown head and black color. Aroma is raspberry, hint of dark malt. Taste is raspberry, dark malt, very dry, some hops. OK carbonation.

Dark black body with a small creamy brown head. Somewhat flat. Roasted malt aroma, some raspberry syrup. Sweet raspberry syrup flavor, some roasted malt, a bit of chocolate, and some dry bitter in the end.
