Tap @ Sct. Clemens as Havreporter (Oatmeal Stout) 5.6 % ABV. Unclear very dark brown with a small brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, burnt malt and smoked. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. Really nice for an Apollo. 020313

Tap @ Apollo. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, licorice and hops. Dry bitter finish.

Growler 200cl from Bryggeriet Herning, Torvet 3 C, 7400 Herning, Denmark.[ Courtesy of æHDer ]. Unclear dark dark black brown colour with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, oat. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long long duration, chocolate, roasted bitter, dry, ash notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130309]

250ml on tap, 5 % abv, at Bryggeriet Apollo. Nice to look at with a deep, dark brown body with a fawn-coloured head reduced a tiny layer. Lacing depth. Inviting aroma of dark malts with hints of dark chocolate. Fine blended taste of oats, chocolate and roasted coffee added by leafy hops towards the finish. Came as a pleasant surprise (Copenhagen, 20.03.2013).

From tap at the brewpub. Pours pitch black with a small tan and creamy head. Aroma is roasted malty and light liqourice. Breadish, roasted malty and light caramelish. Bitter and dry toffee to liqourice. Roasted and dry finish.

Draft. A dark Brown beer with a Brown head. The aroma has notes of oats, barley, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, oats, and roasted malt, leading to dry finish.
