(On tap) Hazy, dark brown with a small, creamy off-white head leaving a small, discreet lacework. The nose is surprisingly neutral - perhaps with a wee hint of fruit. Fairly solid body with notes of yeast and some fruit, although the fruit profile is a bit blurred - hence no distinct citrus- or banana esters. Not bad but far from outstanding. 300106

An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is yeasty combined with notes of marzipan, while the flavor is wheaty with light notes of bananas and oranges. A little too fruity for a Weizen bock. The original hand-brewed version was strong with caramel notes and almost undetectable wheat. So the version are very different, but non really strike me as Weizen bocks.
