Kinda weird transporting ice to Germany for brewing ain’t it? Anyways, the beer is pretty and reddish golden with a small, dense head. Unusually strong for a German lager, I bet some brewing sugars are added here which might explain the sweetness. Still rather easy to drink though as some hops add bitterness and balance. 140401
