(Bottle 33 cl) Pale golden with a small, white head that vanishes completely. A lightly sweetish malt in the nose, some malt in the flavour and a very discreet bitterness in the finish. Incredibly light-bodied with a LOT of CO2. Surprising that this old-fashioned pilsener style has survived the Alken-Maes takeover of Louwaege. I wonder for how long, but am sad to say that it wouldn’t really be any great loss. 120605
