Dunkel malziger, bananig hefiger Beginn. Deutliche Bitterkeit im Hintergrund, süßlich, leicht herb, Toffee. Trockener Abgang, insgesamt zu wenig Körper und gleichzeitig zu bitter für einen Doppelbock. 9/7/7/7/5/7

A clear amber beer with a beige head. Aroma of caramelized malt, red malt, leaves. Taste of caramelized red malt, nuts, cereals, toffee, moderate bitterness.

Bottle from Meibier. Dull sweet malt aroma with caramel and syrupy notes. Touch of alcohol, sweet flavour with a somewhat sticky feel. Poor.

Klares golden-bernsteinfarbenes Bier; gemischtporige, relativ stabile Schaumkrone. In der Nase viel Malz, viel Honig, dezenter kräutriger Hopfen. Im Geschmack kraftvoll, voller Körper, viel Malz, würzig, Honig, mittlere Süße, mittlere Hopfenbittere , cremig-weiches Textur. Insgesamt durchaus stimmig.

Fläschla: Deep golden, clear, small - but creamy and stable - off-white head; moderate bitter-sweet aroma of pale malt, honey and medical ("band-aid") hops; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium-bodied, sticky; lingering bitter-sweet finish, dominated by weird herbal-pharmaceutical flavours. Disappointing...

(clear-glass-bottle, 33cl) Clear, amber colour with a medium-sized and off-white foamy head. Light-struck aroma of sulfuric malt with notes of molasses and vagetables. Sweet flavour, stickily full bodied with a tame carbonation. Sweetish malty base with vegetables, light-struck taste with subtle fruity notes, traces of alcohol. Poured the rest away, sorry. 14.VI.18
