Bottled@vPBF2012. Rubyish black colour, small brown head. Aroma is ripe fruits, some earth, yeast and mild hops. Flavour is roasted. mild berries, some liquorice and not too pleasant tart wooden notes. Doesn’t feel anywhere near 8.5 %.

33 cl bottle @ vPBF
Aroma has some cocoa and hints of licorice. Flavour is sourish with some cardboard, somewhat salty licorice and hints of coffee. Nice aroma but that just isn’t enough.

Bottle 330ml from brewery (BB 04/2013)
Opaque black color, beige small head. Rich coffee and chocolate aroma. Suprisingly light body for this ABV. Toasted malts, some light sweet notes and black coffee. Aroma is very good but flavor fails for a beer of 8.5%.

Bottle. Pours deep brown clear, large fizzy tan head that dissipates quickly with a little lacing. Aroma is roasted malt coffee, something chemical that fades with time. Taste is roasted malt, coffee, citric acid
