Can picked up from CAMBA brewery Seeon, and consumed at home Sunday 26th January 2025 listening to Fabio & Grooverider from last night on playback 6Music, we're cooking Moussaka and have made Lemon Curd Ice Cream Balls which we've coated in chocolate, they look more like meteorites, there is little or no uniformity to them. Pours black with a mid/large off white, actually very light beige head maybe. A little bit of roasty burnt malt on the nose, there's a gentle rather than pushy bitterness, to be expected from a Black NEIPA I guess, tastes more like a regular black IPA than a NEIPA version and I guess this is where any juiciness or subtleties are drowned out I guess, but it's a good beer, a very solid and drinkable BIPA. Nice roastiness, nice little burnt woodiness, good looking beer.
