Cask (Trent Navigation, Nottingham) - Dark brown with red tinges. Roasted malt, cocoa and a hint of dried fruit in the aroma. Chocolatey and slightly roasted taste with raisins and cocoa standing out.

Cask (gravity) @ The 18th Reading Beer and Cider Festival 2012, Reading, Berkshire England.Clear dark red brown colour with a average, open and frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, chocolate malt, shoe shine notes. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20120503]

On gravity at the Volunteer, Bristol 30/06/2012. Near black with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of dark chocolate and roasted malts. Flavour had more chocolate, some coffee and liquorice, leading to a dry finish. Enjoyable.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Quite much deep ambery brown colour, small off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, liquorice, toffee and some mild caramelly notes. Flavour is roasted malts, some ripe fruits, mild liquorice, toffee and some chocolate as well.
