Bottle. An amber colored beer, clear, and topped by a small, dense, light beige head. Pleasant hoppyness in the aroma, citrus peel and pine cones, but there’s not much maltyness going on. It’s full to medium bodied, quite dry and with a tad too much carbonation. Pine cones, citrus peel and bitterness in the flavor, as well as some notes of caramel. Bitter finish. Certainly not the typical Oktoberfestbier, but it’s quite nice anyway. 121110

Bottle, 5.5%. Faint teaish aroma. Clear copper colour. Small white head. The flavour has a rough bitterness. It seems a little sourish, almost like a beginning infection. Not something that ruins it, though. OK maltiness and a bit of horse in the finish.
