One of the best things about drinking at home instead of in public is that you don't have to listen to the Red Hot Shiti Peppers.

(bottle) Clear, dark amber to brown colour with a beige and firm medium-sized foamy head. Mildly roasty malty, slightly earthy aroma with notes of caramel, bread crusts and a whiff of dough. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied with a soft carbonation. Earthy and mildly roast-malty taste with bready notes, caramel, traces of vanilla and a whiff of herbal hoppy spice, which also dries the beer towards the sweet and mildly bitter hoppy finish. Solid, rather a clasical Dunkel than a Festbier. 26.VI.17

Fläschla(ABV 5.1%) (@Landbierparadies, Norimberk): Almost clear, deep ruby-amber coloured, relatively quickly diminishing loos off-white head, bitter-sweet "rural" dark-malty nose with very delicate traces of toasted malt; mild to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, pretty soft and presumably medium bodied; mild but lingering bitter-sweet dark-malty and a bit toasty finish with a delicate bitterness in the aftertaste. Simple brew, but likeable...
