On tap @ Boulder Strong Ale Fest 2014. Pours a black appearance with a brown head. Dark chocolate, quite toasty aroma definitely with some spicy, piney hops. Moderate bitterness. Some sweetness but not bad. Burnt, chocolate flavor. A bit of vanilla. Pretty nice and enjoyable to drink.

22/11/2012 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Bevuta al Thanksgiving Day. Nera, impenetrabile, densa, schiuma color cappuccino, molto scura, non molto abbondante ma persistente. Al naso sentori di malti tostati, caffΓ©, cioccolata e liquirizia. In bocca ha un attacco dolce, cioccolatoso, e un finale di liquirizia e caffΓ©, amaro e lungo. Corpo medio-pieno, carbonazione abbondante, alcol incredibilmente nascosto. Imperial stout magistrale, per nulla estrema, ma di grande sostanza ed equilibrio.
