Borefts VIII. Day 1. Keg. Lightly hazy apricot colour beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry with decent carbonation. Light bitterish malts. Acidic generic fruits, Light dry finish. A bit too acid for me but some nice bits.

Thanks Dave for sharing the bottle! Poured into a taster showing moderately filtered shades of cherry and apricot with white foam lacing. The nose shows big and tart notes of cherries. The palate is medium bodied and lightly carbonated. Highly tart with flavors of very tart cherries and very light bourbon in the background. Mostly cherry forward, a pretty good sour.

Bottle, 2011 project, thanks to Homer! Pours clear apple red, small pink head, dissipates leaving a ring with decent lacing. Aroma is bourbon and cherry, lemon, oak. Flavor is light plus tart, pretty funky, oak tannins and horseblanket. Medium body, hints of lactic acidity at the end, along with loads of dusty musty funk. Guessing this one funked up while in the cellar, but I am not complaining. ABV perhaps comes through in the far finish, but for the most part this is a dangerous beer.
