Bottled@SBWF2012. Hazy brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is leathery, caramelly, mild peated notes as well as some toffee and fudge. Flavour is raisins, toffee, some leathery notes as well as mild alcohol. A bit to sweet to be really pleasant.

330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget. Pours vinous deep reddish brown with a very small golden brown head that quickly dissipates without leaving any trace on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with caramel, biscuits, raisins, prunes, wood, banana liqueur, sweet dark bread, slightly dry grass, resin, toffee and alcohol. Taste is sweet, slightly bitter and tiny metallic with sweet dark bread, raisins, prunes, hay, charred wood, alcohol, alcohol, biscuits, christmas fruit cake, moist soil and hints of cherries in brandy. Mouthfeel is round, slightly sticky sweet, vinous, flat and medium bodied. Finish is sweet, tiny bitter and tiny sour with sweet dark bread, raisins, prunes, charred wood, alcohol, moist soil and lemon zest. They’re close to something good here. A pity it’s completely flat and slightly unbalanced.

Djupt mörkt kopparfärgad. Rökig doft med inbäddad sötma och karamell. Rökigheten går igen i smaken. Lång eftersmak.
