Bottle from Systembolaget. Pours heavy dark brown without any head. Aroma of alcohol and some hops. Taste of dark chocolate fudge, malt and tarr.

Draught at SBWF. Hazy mahogany colour, minimal head. Meaty and mildly smoky. Full bodied with soft mouthfeel. Deep buttery malt, pleasantly warming with notes of peat and low bitterness. A malt centered beer with huge qualites in that department!

Sample at a tasting with Systembolaget in September 2012. Slightly hazy dark brown with a small white head. Sweet with malt, toffee, dried fruit, nuts and notes of roasted malt. Quite complex but a little too much alcohol for my liking. I guess that this one will be tastier if kept in the cellar for a while.
