bottle from MoritzF - danke! Slightly hazy golden yellow, small white head. Fascinating aroma of freshly ground white pepper and a touch of smoke. Medium-bodied, malty background, spicy-grassy hops. Nice one.

Growler: Deep golden, a bit unclear with some little floaties, big stable fluffy off-white head, showing a good lacework; grassy herbal hops in the delicate grainy and toasty nose, nutty traces underneath; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, almost medium bodied; soft nutty flavours in the toasty and slightly hoppy finish. A goody.....

(from the 2 Liter growler, with thanks to Vlad Dracul) Hazy, deep golden to amber colour with a tall and stable, slightly off-white foamy head. Distinctively grassy hoppy aroma with a touch of toasted malt and shy hints of caramel, combined with a delicately nutty touch. Slightly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Nutty and slightly toasty malt-character with rising grassy hops towards the mildly bitter finish. A discreet and fine brew, might pair very well with corresponding dishes. 30.III.11
