(bottle) Clear, reddish amber colour with a big and beige foamy head. Sweet roast-malty aroma with caramel, liquorice and subtle fruity accents. Sweet flavour with a balancing burnt bitterness; medium to full bodied with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Roast-malty taste with caramel and a distinctive note of liquorice; sweet and moderately bitter, almost slim finish according to its abv; malt-accented roasty with an almost non-detectable alcohol. Bottle: clear, ruby amber coloured, quite stable small foamy layer; solid sweet vinous-fruity (raisins) and sweet caramelly nose; solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied; robust bitter-sweet finish with light traces of alcohol. Not the worst Doppelbock.........
