Mariner aka Cherry & White. As the leaves tumble and fall, we reach for a beer with depth. Mariner is an autumnal, copper coloured ale, featuring roasted malt with full complex toasted aroma’s, nutty flavours and hints of biscuit. Sit back with a glass, enjoy and let the flavours and the seasons unfold.

Bottle from The Hop Pocket, Bishops Frome, Herefordshire, consumed Sunday 12th August 2012 Difficult to be sure of the colour as it is quite dark outside now, however hazy amber and a real volcanic gusher out of the bottle, I thought it was going to be sour but absolutely not, it is anything but, and is sweetish, fruity and quite tasty even a little bit of Cornish vanilla ice cream in and amongst. Quite smooth, another decent beer from the Gloucester brewery. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov14 3.3

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 9/06/2012. Clear orange in colour with a slight white head. Pronounced citrus hop aroma with a touch of malty sweetness. Flavour had some orange marmalade, biscuity malts and a lingering, dry, hoppy finish. Good stuff.
