Aroma is moderate malty, tart - sour, baking yeast, light roasted and caramel, light brown sugar. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light acidic with a long duration, tart, fruity - berry, brett, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20130111]

Tap @ new tasting room. Fucking weird idea but hey, at least they’re being creative. Clear, deep reddish brown appearance with a light brown head. Tart, dark plum, raspberry/blackberry, somewhat vinous, moderately acidic aroma that doesn’t smell anything like a bock. Tangy dark fruity (grape, blackberry, plum) flavor that sort of reminds me of an oud bruin. Fairly tart, rich fruity, red vinous flavor. Actually a pretty cool beer, though it isn’t anything like a bock. Evidently this is actually lagered but was then put into Cab barrels with Brett. Cool beans.
