Millie’s Wings is the first barrel-aged sour we have ever released. This sour ale aged in a Whiskey barrel for two full years before we conditioned it on dark sweet cherries. It has great depth of flavor with a balanced sweetness, full of toasted oak, dark cherry, and the warmth of whiskey. It is meant to be drunk slow and enjoyed, like a fine wine or spirit.

Bottle from the brewery, picked up right around this time of year in 2023, consumed 10/6/24. Wax on top of a cork here for some strange reason (just to make it a pain in the ass to open???). Poured it into my Melesa's Wings glass for the Jose proper. a reddish color, mostly clear, with a large fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is boozy cherries, light funk, and plenty of wood. This is a strange beer, but it kind of works. 7/4/8/3/16
