Berry Banana is a heavily fruited sour ale that was brewed with a base of pale barley malt, wheat malt, and flaked oats.

It was fermented with a special, lactic acid producing yeast strain and then conditioned on an abundance of bananas and mixed berries (strawberry, blackberry, blueberry, and black currant).

Berry Banana pours thick like a fruit smoothie into a glass, showcasing its hazy, purplish-red hue and forming a fluffy head of pink foam. As you drink, each swig will leave behind a frothy ring of fruity foam inside the glass.

This smoothie-style sour ale opens with aromas of bananas and dark berries, drinks with a luscious medium body, and closes with a refreshingly tart, fruity finish.

We get notes of strawberry banana yogurt, blackberry soft drink, blueberry pie filling, black currant gastrique, mixed wild berries, banana berry parfait, and SweeTart candies.
