Brewed in tribute to the Hackettstown Volunteer Fire Department, 78 Fire is a rich, malty Irish-style Red Ale released each year leading up to St. Patrick’s Day, with proceeds supporting our local fire company.
Crafted with Simpsons Golden Promise, roasted barley, and crystal malts, it pours a deep ruby red with notes of toffee, toasted bread, and a light touch of roast. Balanced with the gentle, earthy character of East Kent Goldings hops and finished with clean, subtle fruitiness from English ale yeast, it’s both flavorful and approachable.
A beer brewed with purpose—raise your pint to the ones who keep us safe.

16 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Copper red color. Large, frothy tan head. Toasted malt aroma has notes of brown sugar and caramel. Sweet, toasted malt flavor has notes of toffee and spicy hops. Nicely balanced and flavorful. Mildly complex and a nice example of the style.
