This is our ode to Ballantine Brewery located--for a time--on Freeman Street in Newark, New Jersey. Our replica mimics the hearty nature and robust hop flavor, including Cluster, Liberty, and Bullion hops. In tradition, our use of Bullion mimics Mr. Ballantine's addition of Bullion hop distillate as he aged his ale in barrels. Bright straw in appearance, pine and fruit aroma compliment a modest body ending with some hop burn. Cheers, Mr. Ballantine!
