A clean, bitter pilsner brewed with New Jersey-grown farmhouse malt from Rabbit Hill, backed by a bold hop backbone. We mash-hopped it with Nelson Sauvin for a sneaky hit of white grape and lime skin, then layered in Magnum and Hallertauer Mittelfrüh to give it that crisp, focused expression of hop oils and bitterness. A touch of Hallertau Blanc adds just enough high-note flair and rounds out the finish with hints of citrus peel and white grape.

473ml can [Nelson Sauvin, Motueka, Hallertau Blanc]. Minimally milky, yellow-ish, colden colour with average, frothy, osteoporosing, minimally lacing, snow white head. Slightly herbal-grassy, minimally fruity hoppy and minimally grainy, malty aroma, a touch of gooseberry, white grapes, kiwi fruit, green pear, minimally yeasty spicy overtones with a touch of mustard seed. Taste is moderately bitter, grassy and slightly vinous, fruity hoppy, minimally grainy and spicy, pale malty basis, hints of white grapes, gooseberry, kiwi fruit, a touch of green pear, chlorophyll.
Oily-watery texture, dry palate, medium, slightly scattered, prickly carbonation.
Slightly cautious nose, fairly dry and nicely fruity hoppy taste - pretty decent.

Draft at Twenty / 20, 3/14/24. Clear pour, grassy, pine, herbal. Grainy and bready. Smooth and clean. Finishes on some citrus. Good stuff.
