Featuring the Hops Cashmere, El Dorado, & Simcoe
This imperial strength, hazy IPA is the final release in our “What’s Your Sign?” series, a collection of zodiac-inspired brews that embody the unique traits of each sign.
The astrological sign for Capricorn is the sea goat, a mythological creature with the body of a goat and the tail of a fish, which represents the Capricorn’s skills at navigating both the material and emotional realms.
According to astrology, those born between December 22nd and January 19th are also associated with being hardworking, independent, ambitious, pragmatic, disciplined, loyal, pessimistic, stubborn, critical, and responsible.
Capricorn IIPA was brewed with a base of pale barley malts layered generously with fluffy, protein-rich wheat and oats. It was hopped heavily in the whirlpool and then dry hopped twice with a super aromatic and flavorful blend of Cashmere, El Dorado, & Simcoe.
You can expect a beautifully hazy, light yellow-orange brew teeming with delicious hoppy aromas, that drinks with a soft, medium body, low levels of perceived bitterness, and a finish that bursts with juicy, fruity, hop flavors.
We get notes of juicy tangerine, fruit punch, red Starburst candies, plump apricots, ripened tropical melons, peach groves, watermelon bubble gum, and freshly squeezed OJ.
