Petite Saison Conditioned on Lightly Toasted French Oak

Embark on a sensory journey with Barnwood Saison, a delicate farmhouse ale that will remind you that beauty often lies in simplicity.

Crafted with pure, filtered, aquifer water from our farmhouse’s well, this petite saison sings with the soulful notes of locally sourced @rabbit_hill_malthouse grains accompanied by a gentle touch of noble hops.

Barnwood Saison was fermented dry with a blend of specialty yeast strains and conditioned on lightly toasted French oak before being bottle conditioned with fresh yeast.

It’s impressive merengue-like crown of foam, nuanced flavors, and lively effervescence will dance effortlessly across your palate, leaving you with a dry, crisp, and satisfying finish.

We get notes of fresh, crusty baguette, refreshing lemon spritz, cracked black peppercorn encrusted wheat cracker smeared with pear preserves, subtly tart Granny Smith apple slices, and a gentle breeze through a thriving summertime herb and flower garden.

Bottles will be sold at room temperature. Store upright and chill before serving.

750 ml bottle from the Source, 2/17/24. When the cap comes off the foam wants to escape, into the glass it pours a cloudy golden color, with a very large pillowy foam of white head. The aroma is bready / grainy, lemon, spice / pepper, and some herbal notes. Tons of flavor is developed here for such a small beer ABV-wise. Really nice mix that develops as you drink it.
