Inspired by modern cask old ale recipes currently brewed in England. This malty UK-style beer is a great change of pace from porter / stout and brown ale. Deep garnet in color with a medium rich palate, this lower-ABV old ale has notes of Bosco / chocolate taffy, dried black mission fig, black plum, dried black cherry, molasses & fruit cake. Each can is dosed with nitrogen to mimic the cappuccino-like head of a typical northern English cask pour, so please follow serving “instructions” on the front of the label.
