A blend of two barrel-aged stouts, spending more time in a barrel than any other beer we have done to date; one spent over 2 years in a bourbon barrel and the other spent almost 2 and ½ years in a rye barrel. Big notes of dark chocolate, bourbon and molasses.

Bottle from AE, 12/19/23. Pours a dark brown color with a medium brown head that dissipates quickly down to nothing. Strong bourbon and wood aroma and flavor profile. Getting roast and coffee, some unsweet chocolate, molasses, and a good bit of licorice. Fairly dry, fairly boozy.
