500 ml bottle from AE, 10/12/23. Poured this into my brand new Melesa's Wings glass, which felt very appropriate. Maybe the most proper of proper glassware. It pours into the glass a dark brown color, with a thin light brown head that disappears pretty quickly. Big time banana and vanilla on the aroma and flavor. There's some roast underneath, with a good bit of wood and whiskey notes as well. Definitely leans sweet, but not at all in an off putting way. It's frankly delicious. It drinks great too. Full bodied and smooth. Chewy. Long duration. Awesome beer for an awesome cause. Great job with this one Brendan, Scott, Steve, Jose, and the rest of the team! Excellent overall, managing to perfectly hit the sweet spot (pun intended) between no sweet flavors and cloyingly sweet. Yeah, I really really dig this one.
