This Brown Ale is a robust brown ale with rich chocolate notes and pronounced roasted flavors that pull through at the very end. This beer is dark in color but light in body, coming in 5.5% ABV, with just enough bitterness to balance the beer.

Can (no longer known as "Trout Town" but same logo otherwise) from Oliver's Beverage, Albany. Lightly hazy, brownish-red with nice sparkle, thin covering of head quickly fading to ring, trace lacing. Aroma is earthy roasted malt and toffee. Taste follows aroma, late hint of nuts. Silky smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste with lingering dry, roasted bitterness. More bitter, roasted than many browns.

Random bottle grab. Murky brown pour. Nose is earthy and some brown sugar. Tastes of brown sugar, earthy bitters, light caramel, some walnut skin, malty. Medium bodied. Fine brown touch chewy. Fall is supposed to start which this would be appropriate.
