Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy orange color with a small creamy beige head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was semi sweet with vague fruity hops and was a bit tangy. The flavor was tangy and a bit tart with vague fruity hops and hints of pepper and spice. Medium length tart and tangy fruity hop finish. Medium body. Meh.

Light iced tea color. Mild initial bitterness without any sweetness. Not too much similarity to most octorfests or marzens and I’m glad. This stuff brings out the best in the style without that overly offensive bite that most ’fests tout. Very unique. Some medium low carbonation. Tho it is not extremely bitter, there is a tolerable amount of bitter bite that builds toward the finish. Some lingering medicinal malt bitterness on the finish.
