Notes from 2005. +++ Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very pale yellow color with a small white head. The aroma was buttery and a bit tangy. The flavor was tangy with a buttery nutty presence and a hint of hops. Long tangy buttery finish. Almost a Chardonnay flavor. Pretty awful.

Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color. Smells a little sweet and vinegary. Taste is definately pilsner bitter. Refined pilsner style hop bitterness. Not ale hops, mind you, pilsner lager hops. Mild carbonation. A little more bitterness than this lager lover can appreciate. Lingering processed pilsner bitterness on the finish. Wants to be an ale.
