Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color. Barely any aroma, just the typical hints of beerness. Earthly flavor that is very similar to the Babbling Brook. and the Ultra Light Tackle. Virtually flat even though I can see carbonation in the brew. Bitter as it’s namesake implies. Cannot hold a candle to Hobgoblin. More on the bitter side of ESB.

Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a bright orange color with a large yellow-white head. The aroma was light sweet fruity hops. The flavor was tangy, fruity and bitter with a mild hop presence. There was a tangy finish.
