Please ignore my numbers, I rate by how I enjoy them and I don’t care for hoppy IPA. You ask, then why did I taste? Well, because it was there. This is as good example of an IPA that I have tasted, has all the good attributes. It is a little darker than you typical IPA, kinda orange brown with a reddish hue. . Bitter medicinal syrupy qualities coat the inside of your mouth. Like chewing on green grapefruit rinds? Give this a try, will not disappoint. Certainly a good example of an IPA. Finish is bitter lingering that lasts and lasts. Offensive and over the top. Just what you’d expect for a good IPA.

This used to be a fantastic IPA with a strong cascade hop presence. But that was 10 years ago and they have ruined this beer in the meantime. +++ Samples on draft this beer poured a hazy caramel color with a medium sized foamy white head that left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet and malty with bitter piney and cactusy hops . The flavor was sweetish with strong notes of pine, cactus and perfume. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Used to her a 4.1 from me. :-(
