On tap at the H&H in cranberry township PA near Pittsburgh. Nice place. Very dark opaque pour. Good aroma of roasty coffee, very interesting. Very nice creamy brown beige head, I want to touch it and then feel it between my fingers. Mild coffee and roasted flavors but it is not overwhelmingly bitter. OK flavor, no hop aroma. Moastly roastyness and possibly some malt flavors too. VEry little if any carbonation. There is a slight bitter linger but it is not hops bitterness....more roasty malts. Label says it has a low hop flavor. Pretty good example of an enjoyable dark beer. Better than guinness.

Sampled on draft at the Cranberry Twp PA location this beer poured a black color with light ruby highlights and a a medium sized creamy tan head. The aroma is a wonderful mix of strong roasty malts and coffee. The flavor is simply awful. Very very bitter and acidic coffee with sour malts and a gritty finish. The beer tastes like old cold McDonalds coffee. Uck!
