Dark brown to black, opaque, tan to brown low head. Aroma of roasted malts, coffee, earth, a hint of peat & barrel. Medium body. Oily. Vinous taste. Roast, dried fruit, some coffee. Light but persistent bitterness. Good

At a tasting, thanks, small stable creamy brown head, pitch black color, aroma of roasted coffee wax and dark bread, flavor of bittersweet chocolate, charred notes and rye, light sweetness, medium bodied and quite light for the ABV. Mellow and enjoyable.

Bottle shared at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks mom & dad for this bottle! Black with a tan head. Aroma of roast, chocolate, nuts, vanilla, some dark fruits. Roasty flavor, sweetish, with chocolate, a sourish note, some wood, a rye note, a vanilla hint, nuts, and a bit of dark fruits. Medium to full-bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Can’t seem to find the bourbon here, but really good nonetheless.

Bottle 500 ml. Almost black color. Aroma: bourbon and red port wine, caramel, malt, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, wood. Taste: port wine, cream, oak barrels, a little bourbon, caramel, caramel, prunes, dried fruit. Good one.

pours a clear dark brown, almost black with a small brown head and no lacing. aroma of roast, dark chocolate, leather, wood. flavour of dark chocolate, tobacco, coffee, bread, sour milk. bittersweet finish. full body.
