Strong Bitter di 7,2% Alc. ispirata alle birre luppolate americane, realizzata con malti caramellati inglesi e una cospicua luppolatura. Il caramello che si avverte all'inizio lascia poi il posto alle note resinose e fruttate dei luppoli e infine ad un amaro deciso e persistente.

All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di luppolo. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta ed è persistente. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di aspetto opalescente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata. La continuità gustativa è buona. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Al palato arrivano note di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, agrumi, pompelmo e mandarino.

Dark amber with medium head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel, toasted, hop and chocolate. Flavour is malt, caramel, light roasted malts, toasted, medium sweet, little chocolate and medium bitter.

Draught @ [ Birre Sotte L’Albero 2012 ]@ Open Baladin Roma, Via degli Specchi 6, Roma, Italy 00186.Unclear dark to medium brown - red amber colour with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, cacao, moderate to heavy hoppy, light orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark bitter, cacao - chocolate malt bitter, ruff, flowers - yeasty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20121216]

Draught Medium white head, lacerings over reddish-amber beer. Citrus, USA-hops, tad of bananaester, and malts showing through. Bitterhops; not harsh, if very outspoken. Fruity, estery finish. Slick and medium bodied. Good IPA that is an IAA...
