Zeer donker bier, vergist met bramen. Samen met de andere ingrediënten zorgt dit voor een vol en complex bier.

Bottle courtesy of MonsterMagnet, many thanks! Dark brown color with red highlight and beige head. Aroma is dark chocolate, toffee, nutty, earthy. Taste is slightly roasted malts, more dark chocolate, toffee, and nutty, raisins and red berries, slightly warming finish. Low carbonation, full-bodied, but still sorta light. Good!

Bottle. Too alcoholic for my liking, venturing into moderate intensity of warmth and alcohol flavour. Pity because it ruins the enjoyment of otherwise complex and promising beer for me. Dried fruits, cherry, lots of alcohol.

330ml bottle from MonsterMagnet. Many thanks! Pours dark brown, tan head. Good tantalising aroma of woody caramel, leather, berries. Taste is has a wonderful depth of flavour with good caramel, dark malts and dried fruits whilst also being exceptionally smooth and easy-drinking. Warming and delicious.

Bottle [thanks to bierkoning] @ home. Opaque black color, average sized off-white to beige head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish, some liquorice, dark malts, dark and overripe fruits, sweet raisins, alcohol present. Oily texture, medium body, soft carbonation. Quite pleasant.
