Our take on a wheat-based IPA. We started with a Wit style beer and then added just over 30 pounds of hops. Unfiltered, the beer is off white in color with a white head. Strong citrus notes on the nose leading into a slightly sweet taste, then finishing with the hop bitterness characteristic of an American IPA.

Thistle, coriander, bubble gum, mint, lemon zest bouquet. Eclectic! Hazy golden, thick lacy head. Minty, lemongrass flavor, good intensity. Not cloying at all. Light body, soft carbonation, full flavor. Whatever this minty hop is, I donβt usually like it. In this beer it works. This is a very nicely crafted beer, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Nailed it!

Had this on draft as part of the sampler at the Wild Wolf brewpub. Poured a slightly hazy light orange color with a small white head. Aroma was grapefruit, some sweet malt notes. Flavor was light citrus notes, with some malty character. Some notes of wheat, pretty refreshing.

Served on draft at the brewpub. Pours a hazy vibrant lemon yellow color with a thin frothy off-white head. Average head retention. Aroma of acrid wheat, faint sweetness, clay and a bitter hop finish. The taste is dry wheat with bitter earthy and herbal hops. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness and off balance towards the hops.
