Dried leaves, wood, and subtle date aroma. Clear chestnut, thin head. Mild peat and dried leaves flavor. Alcohol not noticeable. Flavorful, easy to drink.

Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear ruby color with a nice tan head. Aroma was earthy malt notes, touch of caramel. Flavor was about the same, earthy notes, caramel, sweet malts.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear red color with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Faint aroma with earthy and caramel notes. The taste is earthy notes, caramel malts and a hoppy finish. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation.
