A very special ale of the French-Belgian farmhouse beer style that has been brewed for centuries in Western Europe... brewed with three different grains and liberally hopped with the prized Saaz hop variety.

Tap at brewery. Poured an amber color with a tiny off-white head. Aroma was malts, spice notes, fruits. Flavor was malts, weak spice, a touch of mostly earthy hops. Okay attempt at the style.

This is being billed as simply the South Street Saison at 7% abv, but the description is very similar, so I won’t create a new beer entry. Yellow gold pour with a creamy one finger head. Moderate head retention and good lacing. Yeast, candi sugar and spice (clove) in the aroma. Sweet fruity taste with notes of caramel, citrus and spice. Medium-full body.

Draft, of course. Pours a lightish amber with a small off-white head. Malty aroma, some sweet fruits, some hops, and malts. Flavor is overall kinda blandish, but not bad. Has the same sweet fruits- but not too sweet- and a ricey/malty finish. Made me long for Thai food after tasting it- I think it was the finish.
