A spiced mead (metheglin) made with bamboo honey. Perfect for sipping while sitting in front of the fireplace! Mulled with Nutmeg, Allspice, Cinnamon and Cloves. Metheglins have been around for literally a millennium!

Bottle pour at 1634, pours a clear blonde. Aroma has a muddled melange of baking spices and fermented out honey. Flavour is fairly spicy, with more sweetness than their other meads, with plenty of spices, wildflower honey, and booze. Boozy, moderately sweet but still thin. Decent.

Taster at the source pours golden copper with no head nice lacing. Aromas of honey and mild spice notes. Taste is slightly dry with the spices coming through in the finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Viking Victory on 04 Apr 2016 at 21:35 - Score: 7
