Aged in our Sour Brown Ex-Cognac Foeder with our house culture; this wild ale is then re-fermented on black currant for an additional three months. Black currant imparts juicy, wine-like characteristics, with minimal tannins.
Jammy: crushed red grape, lovely tartness
Black Currant Wild Ale finishes with a four month rest, conditioning in the bottle.

Pours dark purple into a teku. Pink head with little retention recedes to hug rim. Black currant, berry and cherry aromas. Spritzy with tart black currant and cherry upfront turning to pie crust in the medium length finish.
