A GOOD HEAD IS ESSENTIAL.
Especially when it comes to stout. We use nitrogen bubbles to give our Ink Stout its thick, creamy head and smooth finish. And without getting all big headed, we think it’s the finest stout in the land. Loaded with roast and bitter dark chocolate, dark fruits, a rich and smooth body with linger dry finish.
Stout was born in london in the 18th century, but while the black stuff was made famous in ireland, it declined in popularity in the capital, until now. This changes everything and stout has never tasted so good.

Keg at the White Horse. Black colour with small thin beige/gold head. Aroma is a bit of chocolate, lots of roasty malt, but nutty and some creaminess. Taste is bitter and creamy, some vanilla and touch of coffee bitterness. Bit thin bodied, but pretty nice still, and good taste for the alcohol percentage. --- Beer merged from original tick of Camden Town Camden Ink on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. Tap at Pint Shop, Cambridge, UK. Specified as nitro. Pours black with creamy cappuccino foam. Aroma is intense at first of coffee, burnt caramel, molasses. Body is just a little dense, smooth, with limited carbonation. Taste is moderately bitter, while still remaining rather delicate. Finish is rather long with bitterness.

Nicr beige head and dark black liquid. Aroma of fresh brewed coffee. Flavour is much the same with dark chocolate notes. Medium finish and soft oiliness. Decent stout and smooth.

Tap(@The Horseshoe, Hampstead): Literally black, bigger and stable creamy tanned head; moderate dry roasty and fruity (dried berries) nose; dry bitter flavour, pretty light bodied and a bit tart; lingering dry bitter-roasty finish. O.K.…
